Breaking in my new me

A mother of 2 
...less sleep than I prefer
...spit up on my clothes
...2x the doctor appts.
...2x the diapers to change
...2x the mouths to feed
...2x the motherly concerns

BUT
...10x the love
...10x the precious moments
...10x the pictures on my phone
...10x the blessings and wonders around me
...10x the giggles, good baby smells, and cuddles

Change isn't always easy or fun, but sometimes it is. 
With all change their comes a period of "breaking in"...
and bringing William home (oh yeah- sorry I didn't blog about that) was no different.
But, it has been WONDERFUL! 
Sure, I'm tired, don't get ready very often and have way less done when Talon gets home...
BUT... We are loving being home, being a family and having William with us. 

Adalyn knew we were home the moment we walked in the door.
William is growing and turning into such a cute little dude. 
We are getting use to our new normal

And I LOVE IT!

Awe cute pictures! Yeah it kinda takes a while to adjust to 2...infact I think I'm still trying to adjust. Ha! But like you said the perks are way way worth it:) Your family is amazing and adorable!

Hello Family and Friends! If you haven't heard yet, our little baby girl Adalyn was born Tuesday, March 15th at about 2pm. She was born by emergency C-section (they knocked Nicole all the way out because there wasn't time for anything else) and was under a lot of distress. After a wonderful blessing from her Grandpa Hicken and Daddy she was life flighted to McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden. She is still in the NICU there but is making great strides each and every day.  Her mommy and daddy named her Adalyn Julene Anderson-- after her great grandma Anderson (Julene). She has already blessed their lives immensely and she has benefited so much from prayers and fasts of family and friends. She has a long road ahead of her, but she is a fighter! Her grandpa Hicken calls her his little Millie- because she is a miracle baby and in Spanish, miracle is Milagro. She is a miracle and we are so happy to have her.  Love you all!

Delivery Day

Well folks- it's D-Day! After talking some more and discussing with us- our doctors (a team of OBs and Perinatologists) have decided that it is best for baby boy not to have any risks with the placenta and come today. So- He's going to be very early- they will have completed the steroids though, so that is helpful. But we all feel that this is the very best thing for HIM. I'll have a c-section- hopefully regular this time- this afternoon and we will have a baby boy by this evening. He will go straight to the NICU and we'll just see how he does to know more about how long he will be there. Again, thank you all for your comments, prayers, texts, phone calls. We appreciate all of you and your love and support for us! Love you all- remember we are in His hands. And who's better to be in.
