I've been thinking

A LOT lately. About the gospel. The plan. The Atonement. 

So many people have so many struggles. 
It pains me to think about all of them.
I often don't know why these wonderful people have to go through such tremendous pains.
But, there are a few things I do know:

We all have trials. Every single one of us.
Most of the time, you wouldn't even scratch the surface of knowing what someone is going through...sure you may have an idea, but there are so many things that can weigh a person down.

The Lord loves us all-- and wants us ALL to return to Him. 
But we must choose Him.
We must let Him into our lives. Let Him make our lives truly sanctified.

I also know that I LOVE Hilary Weeks. 
She has such an amazing way of putting My feelings, and I'm sure everyone else's into words and music
Have you heard her new album "Every Step". You should. 

It's pretty much great and has given me strength to continue when my trials seem insurmountable. 
And on my own, they would be. So I'm so grateful for Christ.
He makes it possible to climb mountains. He makes it possible to fly.

Miracles are real. They are all around us. 
Let's turn our trials into "Beautiful Heartbreaks".

That is my FAVORITE song on her new album. I love it. Except it makes me cry. Um, also, p.s. You were in my dream last night and all I remember is that I missed you so much. I just love you, my friend!

No joke, I was going to post this same video on my blog today, except EVERYTHING else took priority. :) Thanks for posting it on yours. I LOVE this song and the music video always makes me cry. I really think she puts into music what our hearts want to say, but don't know how to.

Hello Family and Friends! If you haven't heard yet, our little baby girl Adalyn was born Tuesday, March 15th at about 2pm. She was born by emergency C-section (they knocked Nicole all the way out because there wasn't time for anything else) and was under a lot of distress. After a wonderful blessing from her Grandpa Hicken and Daddy she was life flighted to McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden. She is still in the NICU there but is making great strides each and every day.  Her mommy and daddy named her Adalyn Julene Anderson-- after her great grandma Anderson (Julene). She has already blessed their lives immensely and she has benefited so much from prayers and fasts of family and friends. She has a long road ahead of her, but she is a fighter! Her grandpa Hicken calls her his little Millie- because she is a miracle baby and in Spanish, miracle is Milagro. She is a miracle and we are so happy to have her.  Love you all!

Delivery Day

Well folks- it's D-Day! After talking some more and discussing with us- our doctors (a team of OBs and Perinatologists) have decided that it is best for baby boy not to have any risks with the placenta and come today. So- He's going to be very early- they will have completed the steroids though, so that is helpful. But we all feel that this is the very best thing for HIM. I'll have a c-section- hopefully regular this time- this afternoon and we will have a baby boy by this evening. He will go straight to the NICU and we'll just see how he does to know more about how long he will be there. Again, thank you all for your comments, prayers, texts, phone calls. We appreciate all of you and your love and support for us! Love you all- remember we are in His hands. And who's better to be in.
