Back on Hallow's Eve

Remember that time halloween came? And went? Well, we enjoyed it. We really did. And you wouldn't know it... because we only took pictures of Adalyn's costume- and ONE of Talon in partial attire stuffing his face with pumpkin shaped marshmallows. 

No, he was NOT Spongebob- He was Mustard... I was Ketchup. Obviously, he is not wearing the cone for his head- although it was awesome and he rocked it!

Adalyn dressed up as many things-- first as a PINK skeleton (also featured below with cousin Andy):

Then as a purple owl- or Archimedes as Talon calls her:

Then as a cheetah (the official costume, thanks to a babyshower, and I think... Auntie Shelley):

Finally, on Halloween when Grandma (the witch) flew in (hahaha joke she told me)... she wore a Halloween onsie and her cat hat from Aunt Chelsea!

Like I said... Back on Hallow's Eve, we had some good times! And let's be honest... you'd dress Adalyn up in all sorts of cute outfits too!

Remember the time that I was a ketchup bottle for Halloween? Um, what are the odds? I brought my weiner dog to our work party... She was a hot dog. :)

Hello Family and Friends! If you haven't heard yet, our little baby girl Adalyn was born Tuesday, March 15th at about 2pm. She was born by emergency C-section (they knocked Nicole all the way out because there wasn't time for anything else) and was under a lot of distress. After a wonderful blessing from her Grandpa Hicken and Daddy she was life flighted to McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden. She is still in the NICU there but is making great strides each and every day.  Her mommy and daddy named her Adalyn Julene Anderson-- after her great grandma Anderson (Julene). She has already blessed their lives immensely and she has benefited so much from prayers and fasts of family and friends. She has a long road ahead of her, but she is a fighter! Her grandpa Hicken calls her his little Millie- because she is a miracle baby and in Spanish, miracle is Milagro. She is a miracle and we are so happy to have her.  Love you all!

Delivery Day

Well folks- it's D-Day! After talking some more and discussing with us- our doctors (a team of OBs and Perinatologists) have decided that it is best for baby boy not to have any risks with the placenta and come today. So- He's going to be very early- they will have completed the steroids though, so that is helpful. But we all feel that this is the very best thing for HIM. I'll have a c-section- hopefully regular this time- this afternoon and we will have a baby boy by this evening. He will go straight to the NICU and we'll just see how he does to know more about how long he will be there. Again, thank you all for your comments, prayers, texts, phone calls. We appreciate all of you and your love and support for us! Love you all- remember we are in His hands. And who's better to be in.
