We went to Utah

Again... hehehe. Sometimes I feel sheepish that we've already been back 2 times and we've only lived in little 'ol Kirksville for 3 1/2 months! But, weddings are a must attend when they are a sibling! :D

Talon's sister Shae married such an awesome guy and such a great match for her- Jake. Henceforward to be named as SHAKE. Shake had a great Wedding dinner the night before their wedding so we hopped on an early flight and arrived in SLC about 2 hours before the festivities began (a little less stressful than for Chase and Yeon Mi's wedding when we drove STRAIGHT to the temple). 

It's a family tradition to do a sibling "ROAST" of sorts (If you're not sure what that is, watch The Office). We had TONS of fun helping Jake see the best sides of Shae! 

Shake had such a beautiful ceremony, some fun pictures, and rockin' and delicious reception... and then they were off- so we went to Logan to see my cripple father (a.k.a. the knee surgeon had a total knee replacement and was in the hospital).

We had a blast spending some time with my youngest siblings and seeing my folks- HOWEVER- note to self- a less than 24 hour visit is NOT a good idea, it leaves you pining for more. Miss MY FAM!!!! The major missing of the whole weekend was my seester Chels and her family. Oh I CAN'T WAIT for Christmas! Maybe she'll make Adalyn a Reindeer Hat or something?!?!?

We flew home the next day. Quick one. But so good. Congrats a million to Shake, too! What a great couple!

Hello Family and Friends! If you haven't heard yet, our little baby girl Adalyn was born Tuesday, March 15th at about 2pm. She was born by emergency C-section (they knocked Nicole all the way out because there wasn't time for anything else) and was under a lot of distress. After a wonderful blessing from her Grandpa Hicken and Daddy she was life flighted to McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden. She is still in the NICU there but is making great strides each and every day.  Her mommy and daddy named her Adalyn Julene Anderson-- after her great grandma Anderson (Julene). She has already blessed their lives immensely and she has benefited so much from prayers and fasts of family and friends. She has a long road ahead of her, but she is a fighter! Her grandpa Hicken calls her his little Millie- because she is a miracle baby and in Spanish, miracle is Milagro. She is a miracle and we are so happy to have her.  Love you all!

Delivery Day

Well folks- it's D-Day! After talking some more and discussing with us- our doctors (a team of OBs and Perinatologists) have decided that it is best for baby boy not to have any risks with the placenta and come today. So- He's going to be very early- they will have completed the steroids though, so that is helpful. But we all feel that this is the very best thing for HIM. I'll have a c-section- hopefully regular this time- this afternoon and we will have a baby boy by this evening. He will go straight to the NICU and we'll just see how he does to know more about how long he will be there. Again, thank you all for your comments, prayers, texts, phone calls. We appreciate all of you and your love and support for us! Love you all- remember we are in His hands. And who's better to be in.
