Winter Wonderland

Sorry for the belated blog post! We've been busy getting ready for the holidays, enjoying holidays, and well, just being us!


First, we attended the Logan High Musical "White Christmas".
Mel starred as Rhoda, you remember her, the ditsy blonde that Phil tries to set up with Bob
"Mutual I'm sure"


I think Dustin's character was named Fred, but you should know, he was a dancin' maniac! 
This kids' got skills (as does Melanie, but seriously, who knew?)
He was a tappin', swingin', singin' man! 

Then we remembered I was 20 weeks pregnant (but that was a little bit ago). 
Our little girlie is a kicker, but we sure are excited about her!

Next, sadly, I took my camera with me and neglected to take ANY photos:
We played with my cute cousins from Texas and celebrated my birthday...
Watched a BEAUTIFUL and LARGE snow storm...
Drove to Bountiful with Anderson family clan (the Logan bunch)...
Enjoyed lounging and playing...
Enjoyed a LATE night showing (10:45pm) of Harry Potter 7, not on opening night...
Enjoyed a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving Dinner with the Anderson/Hansen/Peterson clan (all part of my Anderson family)...
Watched a lot of football
Ate a lot of food
Bought some maternity clothes... which made me happy :D (they fit!)

And then... came home and...


Got a TREE!!! 

It was frozen like that... and Talon assured me it would be normal by morning...


Sure enough, then we were able to Decorate!


And I got crafty and made this wreath...



And we took our yearly photo by the tree...


And now we're excited to enjoy Mama Anderson's AMAZING advent calendar gift! 



Here's to finishing off the semester strong and then ENJOYING CHRISTMAS!!!!

I want to see pictures of bebe in your bellay! P.s. I had a dream last night that you were in. I was with child also ... and I did NOT know how that happened. You were the only person who believed me when I said I didn't know how it happened because I had not been inappropriate. Hahah! That's all.

Hello Family and Friends! If you haven't heard yet, our little baby girl Adalyn was born Tuesday, March 15th at about 2pm. She was born by emergency C-section (they knocked Nicole all the way out because there wasn't time for anything else) and was under a lot of distress. After a wonderful blessing from her Grandpa Hicken and Daddy she was life flighted to McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden. She is still in the NICU there but is making great strides each and every day.  Her mommy and daddy named her Adalyn Julene Anderson-- after her great grandma Anderson (Julene). She has already blessed their lives immensely and she has benefited so much from prayers and fasts of family and friends. She has a long road ahead of her, but she is a fighter! Her grandpa Hicken calls her his little Millie- because she is a miracle baby and in Spanish, miracle is Milagro. She is a miracle and we are so happy to have her.  Love you all!

Delivery Day

Well folks- it's D-Day! After talking some more and discussing with us- our doctors (a team of OBs and Perinatologists) have decided that it is best for baby boy not to have any risks with the placenta and come today. So- He's going to be very early- they will have completed the steroids though, so that is helpful. But we all feel that this is the very best thing for HIM. I'll have a c-section- hopefully regular this time- this afternoon and we will have a baby boy by this evening. He will go straight to the NICU and we'll just see how he does to know more about how long he will be there. Again, thank you all for your comments, prayers, texts, phone calls. We appreciate all of you and your love and support for us! Love you all- remember we are in His hands. And who's better to be in.
