Celebrating another BEAUTIFUL year

Yes my friends, Shakespeare's birthday... April 23rd. As a full-fledged Shakespeare fan, I must share some of my favorites from Shakespeare compiled by some of my colleagues. (We're all the English nerd type).

"There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so."
Hamlet 2.2.270

"..a wilderness of monkeys."
The Merchant of Venice 3.1.121

"Lord, what fools these mortals be" A Midsummer Nights Dream Act 3, scene 2, 115

"Out out brief candle, life is but a walking shadow, a poor player who struts and frets his hour on the stage and then is heard no more..."
Macbeth, Act V somewhere

"Let me have men about me that are fat..." Julius Caesar 1:2:202

"How bitter a thing it is to look into happiness through another man's eyes!"
As You Like It Act V, scene II

And my personal favorite:
"If music be the food of love, play on,
Give me excess of it; that surfeiting,
The appetite may sicken, and so die."
Twelfth Night 1.1.1-3

Fools are often wise when Shakespeare takes the pen. Listen and hear the words they speak for they shall bring you sense.
(Me, today, now)

Happy Birthday to the best playwright about! (If you're going to comment that he may not even have existed, or didn't write the plays, or is gay...then DON'T... that's all).
