Spring Break- A New Hope

So.. as the saga continues... Talon and I went and played Tennis, walked around historic downtown, where I suddenly realized that the Target Brand version of Claritin has Antihistamines and is NOT for Nicole to take when wanting to walk around St. George. I felt like the kid in this YouTube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=txqiwrbYGrs (copy and paste it). We were walking and suddenly, without thinking about the tie to the youtube video... I said, "I feel funny!" and I did... feel funny. So we got in the car and I let the weirdness pass. Then, we toured Dixie State Campus. I have a very weird fixation with college campuses. I LOVE THEM! So, we cruised and looked at everything.


Next we traveled the short distance to Vegas to see our great friends Susan and Clark Johnson. They're getting ready to have a little baby boy in about a month and it was SOOO good to see them!!!



ALSO... let it be known that Susan and I WON hand and foot for the FIRST TIME EVER against Talon and Clark. The victory was sweet! and the dinner and dessert weren't too bad either!

YEAH!!! Victory is sweet! Don't worry, the proof is hanging on the fridge, and it will be for a LONG time to come!

Hello Family and Friends! If you haven't heard yet, our little baby girl Adalyn was born Tuesday, March 15th at about 2pm. She was born by emergency C-section (they knocked Nicole all the way out because there wasn't time for anything else) and was under a lot of distress. After a wonderful blessing from her Grandpa Hicken and Daddy she was life flighted to McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden. She is still in the NICU there but is making great strides each and every day.  Her mommy and daddy named her Adalyn Julene Anderson-- after her great grandma Anderson (Julene). She has already blessed their lives immensely and she has benefited so much from prayers and fasts of family and friends. She has a long road ahead of her, but she is a fighter! Her grandpa Hicken calls her his little Millie- because she is a miracle baby and in Spanish, miracle is Milagro. She is a miracle and we are so happy to have her.  Love you all!

Delivery Day

Well folks- it's D-Day! After talking some more and discussing with us- our doctors (a team of OBs and Perinatologists) have decided that it is best for baby boy not to have any risks with the placenta and come today. So- He's going to be very early- they will have completed the steroids though, so that is helpful. But we all feel that this is the very best thing for HIM. I'll have a c-section- hopefully regular this time- this afternoon and we will have a baby boy by this evening. He will go straight to the NICU and we'll just see how he does to know more about how long he will be there. Again, thank you all for your comments, prayers, texts, phone calls. We appreciate all of you and your love and support for us! Love you all- remember we are in His hands. And who's better to be in.
