Halloween Horrors

Whoa!!! Halloween was such a PARTY!!!! My parents told Talon and I that we should have a Halloween Party at their house since my mom would be out of town, so, WE DID! First we went to the Ward Halloween Party and I HAD to take pictures of all the cute primary kids! I love working with them!
And then... THE PARTY!!! We had some of our friends from our married ward over, and I have to tell you, IT WAS SOOO FUN!!! These couples are so much fun! We had the Moores (of course), The Snelgroves, Sargents, Lofleys, Bouchers, Snows, and the Laytons. So funny!!!

We had the couples fight for donuts on a string, and bob for apples, and then finally, a rip roarin' game of Battle of the sexes! Sadly, the men won, but we put up a good fight! So much fun! I think Halloween is becoming one of my new favorite holidays! Check out the slideshow to see all the great pictures from the night!

Ok friend I am responding to your comment on my halloween post. We are coming up for Thanksgiving and will be in Logan until Sunday...wahoo!! We will definitely have to get together and play. Can't wait to see you guys!
(oh, and as far as our pumpkin carving talents go...one word...patterns!)

Hello Family and Friends! If you haven't heard yet, our little baby girl Adalyn was born Tuesday, March 15th at about 2pm. She was born by emergency C-section (they knocked Nicole all the way out because there wasn't time for anything else) and was under a lot of distress. After a wonderful blessing from her Grandpa Hicken and Daddy she was life flighted to McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden. She is still in the NICU there but is making great strides each and every day.  Her mommy and daddy named her Adalyn Julene Anderson-- after her great grandma Anderson (Julene). She has already blessed their lives immensely and she has benefited so much from prayers and fasts of family and friends. She has a long road ahead of her, but she is a fighter! Her grandpa Hicken calls her his little Millie- because she is a miracle baby and in Spanish, miracle is Milagro. She is a miracle and we are so happy to have her.  Love you all!

Delivery Day

Well folks- it's D-Day! After talking some more and discussing with us- our doctors (a team of OBs and Perinatologists) have decided that it is best for baby boy not to have any risks with the placenta and come today. So- He's going to be very early- they will have completed the steroids though, so that is helpful. But we all feel that this is the very best thing for HIM. I'll have a c-section- hopefully regular this time- this afternoon and we will have a baby boy by this evening. He will go straight to the NICU and we'll just see how he does to know more about how long he will be there. Again, thank you all for your comments, prayers, texts, phone calls. We appreciate all of you and your love and support for us! Love you all- remember we are in His hands. And who's better to be in.
