My Sisters

I once read a quote that said,"Sisters by chance, Friends by choice". I really do feel that way about my two beautiful, talented, and amazing sisters. They are truly an inspiration to me! They've dealt with so much and love even more. They truly aspire to become as our Savior Jesus Christ. I am so blessed to have two incredible and amazing sisters!



I found this poem, and to me... although they are not my own words, they depicted my two beautiful sisters PERFECTLY!!! Love you girls!

...To My Sister...
I'm blessed to call you sister,
I also call you friend;
You've loved me unconditionally
And stood through thick and thin

You've shared my joys and sorrows
My laughter and my tears.
You've been my inspiration,
As we grew up through the years

When we were little children
We laughed and played together
Then growing up you stood by me
Through good and stormy weather

There's something God has given us
That's more than family;
He's placed a love for you, my Sister(s)
Deep down in the heart of me.

Yeah ... they're pretty much pretty cool. I like them both too. Um, somehow I need to get into a RS with Mel someday, she's the only one that hasn't either been my RS president or in a RS presidency with me. ;)

Hello Family and Friends! If you haven't heard yet, our little baby girl Adalyn was born Tuesday, March 15th at about 2pm. She was born by emergency C-section (they knocked Nicole all the way out because there wasn't time for anything else) and was under a lot of distress. After a wonderful blessing from her Grandpa Hicken and Daddy she was life flighted to McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden. She is still in the NICU there but is making great strides each and every day.  Her mommy and daddy named her Adalyn Julene Anderson-- after her great grandma Anderson (Julene). She has already blessed their lives immensely and she has benefited so much from prayers and fasts of family and friends. She has a long road ahead of her, but she is a fighter! Her grandpa Hicken calls her his little Millie- because she is a miracle baby and in Spanish, miracle is Milagro. She is a miracle and we are so happy to have her.  Love you all!

Delivery Day

Well folks- it's D-Day! After talking some more and discussing with us- our doctors (a team of OBs and Perinatologists) have decided that it is best for baby boy not to have any risks with the placenta and come today. So- He's going to be very early- they will have completed the steroids though, so that is helpful. But we all feel that this is the very best thing for HIM. I'll have a c-section- hopefully regular this time- this afternoon and we will have a baby boy by this evening. He will go straight to the NICU and we'll just see how he does to know more about how long he will be there. Again, thank you all for your comments, prayers, texts, phone calls. We appreciate all of you and your love and support for us! Love you all- remember we are in His hands. And who's better to be in.
